ALS began in 1985 with a single Cessna 150, leased to a flying school. Today ALS Limited flies Embraer jets, Dash 8s, Beechcraft 1900Ds and Grand Caravans from Wilson Airport, for the UN, the Red Cross, airlines, energy companies and charter clients across Africa and the Middle East. Fly ALS is the part of that airline you can buy a seat on.
Every Fly ALS flight is operated by ALS under its own air operator certificate from the Kenya Civil Aviation Authority (AOC No. 58). ALS maintains its aircraft in its own hangar at Wilson under its own KCAA maintenance approval (K/AMO/L/008), and has been registered under IATA's Operational Safety Audit (IOSA) since 2011. Aid agencies, airlines and oil companies audit ALS before they fly with it; the same aircraft, crews and engineers fly Fly ALS.

Fly ALS flights leave from the FlyALS Terminal at Wilson Airport, Nairobi.
Priority check-in. Dedicated Fly ALS counters. Check in 60 minutes before departure; counters close 30 minutes before.
Fast-track security. Fly ALS passengers use an expedited security lane.
The lounge. Wait in the Fly ALS lounge until boarding. Priority boarding, so you're on the aircraft first.
Luggage storage. If you're carrying more than 15 kg, leave the rest with us at Wilson. Secure storage at the Fly ALS office is free.
Small aircraft, simple rules.
- Many airstrips, one flight.
- Safari flights stop at several airstrips on the way, which is why arrival times are estimates.
- Minimum numbers.
- Most routes need 2 passengers per airstrip and 4 per flight to operate. If yours doesn't reach that, we'll offer you another flight.
- 15 kg, soft bags.
- The holds are small. Diani is the exception, at 20 kg.
- Cashless.
- Card, M-Pesa, Airtel Money, MTN MoMo or PayPal. No cash.

ALS Flight Training at Wilson Airport is a KCAA-approved training organisation, owned by ALS. It teaches the private and commercial pilot licences, and its best students can go on to fly the Grand Caravan with ALS.
